Thermal Circuit’s Engineered Solutions: Creating the Next Generation of Lifestyle Products
Thermal Circuits’ far infrared emitters are typically used in the so-called low-temperature far range. These constitute only the higher and more expensive range of the market of infrared sauna. Instead of using carbon, quartz or high watt ceramic emitters, which emit near and medium infrared radiation, heat and light, far infrared emitters use less watt density while still emitting far less infrared radiation.
Etched-foil ceramic radiant heaters produce a longer wavelength of light which is more readily absorbed by organic or carbon-based materials that include humans (saunas), bread (toasted), and tissue (medical diagnostics).
Thermal Circuits etched foil heaters are found in many consumer products, from CPAP machines to foot warmers. Industrial Engineers, designers, scientists and managers can be assured that Thermal’s Team of applications engineers are the best choice to meet their individual design challenges. Through research, development and innovation, Thermal Circuits provides effective solutions incorporating conductive surface heaters, convective air/gas heaters, infrared panel emitters and heater assemblies.
In the 1960s and 1970s…
Thermal began producing waterbed heaters. Since that time, sundry dielectric materials including polyester and mylar® have been encapsulating the circuitry in applications for sports recovery, physical therapy (physio) and deep tissue infrared therapy.

Applications:
From CPAP, Nebulizers and Medical Devices to Aromatherapy and Diffusers
Thermal Circuits etched foil flexible heaters are utilized within CPAP medical devices to effectively enable patients suffering from sleep apnea. Specifically, the detailed heater assembly increases the temperature of a bath of water to add humidity intoi the patient’s airstream.
Essential oil diffusers are devices that are used to disperse essential oils (highly concentrated extracts from flowers, leaves, and other plant parts) into the surrounding air. Lamp rings, electric heat diffusers, and steam inhalation are other types of diffusers that use heat. According to the ancient practice of aromatherapy, spreading the scent through the air allows the essential oils to activate smell receptors in your nose, sending messages to the brain and influencing your emotions and nervous system.
Thermal Circuits’ ethed foil flexible heaters enable aromatherapy by indirectly heating the essential oils used in diffusers Thermal Circuits helps design teams heat different types of essential oil diffuser including ceramic, electric, nebulizer and ultrasound.
Creature Comfort
Heaters may be human-formed so they articulate with the mechanics of the body (kinesiology). These Kapton® polyimide encapsulated elements can be design with ergonomic geometries and within gloves, ski boots and footwear to gently warm hands, fingers, feet and toes.
Carpal Tunnel Prevention, Heated Wrist Pad for Keyboard and Mouse
220 Degrees Celcius
To combat the onset of carpel tunnel syndrome and similar medical conditions, Thermal has marketed heated keyboard wrist-rest and mouse pads. Conductive Heater Assembly with Silicone Rubber Insulation, bonded to metal mounting plate with thermistor, temperature sensor and thermal fuse.
Engineered Products
Flexible Heaters from Thermal Circuits are light, bendable and can conform to irregular shapes, contours and 3-dimensional patterns. They are simple to apply, yet are capable of higher output than traditional metal-clad heaters. Thermal Circuits designs materials that are compatible with integration and challenging environments
