Trailer trucks transporting temperature-controlled liquids use Thermal Circuits etched foil heaters. Our rugged yet flexible silicone rubber insulated heaters are designed with grommets and lacing that can be cinched into position around the length of the trailer tank’s inner liner and against its convex-shaped end cap(“end bell”). This enables temperature-sensitive end product components, such as liquid chocolate and liquid pharmaceuticals, to travel safely cross country and arrive in readily-usable, protected condition for conversion to finished commodities at manufacturing facilities.

OEM designers incorporate Thermal Circuits’ rubber insulated etched foil heaters into cold weather starting batteries for diesel engines, which enables start up and move out after overnight downtime. Ruggedized surface heaters keep tanks holding effluent from icing up in wintry conditions to aid in effective waste management and etched foil anti-icing/anti-condensation heaters are incorporated into backlit display panels in the cab to assure the flow of information to the train engineer is uninterrupted.

Thermal Circuits rugged silicone rubber-encapsulated etched foil heaters are perfect for Commercial Vacuum Presses and other OEM commercial equipment industries. Thermal Circuits’ etched foil elements offer customized zoned heating, encapsulated in various dielectric insulations.

 

Optical and Infrared cameras are subject to condensation which renders the equipment useless. Thermal Circuits has developed anti-fog or anti-condensation solutions which are integrated within a camera’s optics.

Thermal Circuits’ EPDM and silicone rubber, polyimide and Kapton® heaters are often found within and surrounding vapor deposition chambers to prevent condensation, optimize performance and increase measurement accuracy of the high vacuum atmosphere and the materials being deposited. These etched foil elements heat electronic enclosures, valves and gas composition analyzers for semiconductor and wafer processing, and other industries.

Creature Comfort

Thermal Circuits’ has designed conductive heater assemblies with silicone rubber dielectric insulation and integral temperature controls for floor pads and joysticks. Environments with minus 40 Degrees Celsius – food and cold storage facilities – present a unique challenge to forklift truck operators. To allow the driver to remain in this cold environment, surfaces the truck operator touches are heated.
