Thermal Circuits develops heater components into turn-key assemblies with value-added extensions including heat sinks and enclosures, wire harnesses, integral flex circuits, and a myriad of thermal sensors and over-temperature devices such as thermistors, RTDs, thermocouples, thermostats and semiconductor-type components and over-temp devices such as thermal fuses (TCO). Further, controlling and sensing devices can be incorporated directly to the heater element, wire harness or integral flex circuit.
Etched foil is the circuitry or element for these heaters. They are manufactured from alloys such as inconel, nickel, copper, stainless steel and others. Dependent upon the dielectric insulation and other factors, etched foil heaters can have properties such as low outgassing, resistance to solvents and high thermal capabilities.
Thermoplastic, thermoset, and pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) systems are available for mounting the heater in an application.
Flexible Heaters from Thermal Circuits are light, bendable and can conform to irregular shapes, contours and 3-dimensional patterns. They are simple to apply, yet are capable of higher output than traditional metal-clad heaters. Thermal Circuits designs materials that are compatible with integration and challenging environments.
