Thermal’s Engineered Products Race to Take Precision Performance to the Next Level for the Automotive Industry
Etched foil heaters in side view mirrors melt ice and snow and prevent condensation. Side view mirror heaters are applied by a Tier One mirror housing OEM to the back of the driver and passenger side view mirrors to provide all-season visibility safety.
In the engine, a Thermal Circuits etched foil heating system installed under the hood in the crankcase ventilation system drives out condensation and conquers freezing winter temperatures to protect against PCV valve clogging and engine stalling. Similarly, heaters can be incorporated in the air intake port to improve engine performance and emissions.
Inside the car, Thermal Circuits has engineered non-fatiguing polyester, polyimide and mylar heating elements designed for aftermarket assembly within passenger compartment’s steering wheel, car seat and seat backs.
For additional aftermarket applications outside the car, Thermal Circuits can make special “start assist” heaters for cold weather, typically used in batteries and oil pans, and are designed at 120V, corded and insulated in rugged heavy-duty silicone rubber and other dielectric and thermal insulators.

Engineered Products
Flexible Heaters from Thermal Circuits are light, bendable and can conform to irregular shapes, contours and 3-dimensional patterns. They are simple to apply, yet are capable of higher output than traditional metal-clad heaters. Thermal Circuits designs materials that are compatible with integration and challenging environments
